Through the negotiation with the person in charge of media work of World Economic Forum, the organizing committee is responsible for the organization and registration of Tianjin news media and journalists; whereas that of the journalists coming from other places (including Tianjin liaison journalists) is up to World Economic Forum. Originally, World Economic Forum only proposed 41 Tianjin journalists to register. Later, through several rounds of coordination and negotiation and with preparatory office, publicity office and press unit, a total of 60 Tianjin journalists representing Tianjin Daily, Jinwanbao, Tianjin People’s Broadcasting Station, press department of Tianjin TV, city channel of Tianjin TV, enorth.com, Morning Post, City Express, Bohai Post and Coastal Times was finally approved to register (including 56 pit reporters and four journalists accompanying city leaders). The Tianjin registered journalists inside the venue will play an active role in promoting Tianjin’s media to cover the forum and our city in a comprehensive and profound manner.

The preparatory office will work together with publicity office to organize the registration and information collection of the journalists, in accordance with the relevant requirements of World Economic Forum. Then the name list of the 60 Tianjin journalists will be submitted to World Economic Forum for the unified online registration.
