2010 Summer Davos Forum (Annual Meeting of the New Champions 2010) will be held in Tianjin in September of this year. The preparatory office of the Forum has conducted site visits to the high-star hotels of the city many times in conjunction with relevant units, to fully consider the geographical location, time distance for range of driving, type of guests, hotel features and other factors and finally designate 13 high-star hotels including Renaissance Tianjin Hotel and Sheraton Hotel for the reception of guests both at home and abroad attended in this Annual Meeting.

To enhance the high-end government affairs and business reception level of various hotels and let the participants enjoy high-quality service and make every participant feel at home, the preparatory office of the Forum has repeatedly organized the relevant personnel from reception hotels to carry out a series of visits, training, exchanges and interactive learning activities, of which includes organizing the service staff of the hotels to pay a visit to the Great Hall of the People and Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, inviting the experts of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse to specially come to Tianjin to provide training for the service staff of these hotels. The reception hotels also put special emphasis on the improvement of the foreign language proficiency and the refinement, specialization, individuation and standardization of the service.

It is reported that the preparatory office of the Forum has conducted focus inspection on hardware and software facilities, surrounding environment, detailed services, fire-fighting safety, food hygiene and safety, financial service, communications safeguard, electricity safeguard, all types of emergency response plans, etc. of various hotels in conjunction with relevant units.
