From April 20th to 23rd, over 4,000 volunteer applicants for the 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos Forum, who had passed the preliminary examination from local universities and colleges, attended a 4-day-long retrial at Tianjin Construction & Engineering Workers’ University according to the arrangement of the Summer Davos Preparatory Committee, Tianjin Municipal Commission of Communist Youth League of China and Tianjin Young Volunteers Association.

　　Principals from Tianjin Davos Preparatory Office came to the retrial spot and made an inspection tour in sequence. In the interview, every ten volunteers in a group took part in the “Scene Simulation” on a given topic, and each had face-to-face communication with English proficiency test examiners and comprehensive quality test examiners. Young volunteers showed high enthusiasm and expressed their willingness to be volunteers, to make contributions to the Summer Davos Forum, and to sound and fast development of Tianjin’s economy with their knowledge, skill and wisdom.

　　Tianjin Municipal Commission of Communist Youth League of China and Tianjin Young Volunteers Association will ultimately select 80 volunteers for protocol service, 400 for the Forum service and 1,520 for urban operation service by the end of April according to their total performances and detailed requirements made by the Preparatory Committee. Meanwhile, a database of Davos Volunteers and a SMS platform will be established, allocating volunteers to different positions according to the need and strong points of the volunteers. On that occasion, 2,000 volunteers will become 2,000 beautiful images of the city, working for guests with smiles and services.

　　In the middle of May, Tianjin Municipal Commission of Communist Youth League of China and Tianjin Young Volunteers Association will carry out all-round trainings for those volunteers.
