World Economic Forum Working Group Visit Tianjin for the Preparatory Work

From June 26 to 28, Olivier Schwab (OSC), the Executive Director of China — the World Economic Forum, Jean-Loup Denereaz (JDE), the WEF Executive Operation Director, and his working group, altogether over 30 members, visited Tianjin for the third time for the preparations of the 2012 Annual Meeting of New Champions.

During the visit, the WEF working group and Annual Meeting of New Champions Tianjin preparatory office have held fruitful talks on venue construction, security guarantee, art exhibition, green concept, voluntary work, transport guarantee, hotel arrangement, media accreditation, and communication facilities; and also inspected venues, such as the Cultural Center, where dinner parties will be held. The preparatory office has informed the WEF of the preparations of the relevant working groups for the annual meeting at present. On the basis of discussion, the two sides have reached a consensus on a series of issues.

WEF working group have been satisfied with the preparations by Tianjin. The two sides will further strengthen communication and implement the suggestions raised during the meeting. Now, it is two months before the holding of the annual meeting. The relevant working teams are working closely to promote the work and make full preparations for the success of the Annual Meeting of New Champions.
