To provide 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos Forum guests with first-rate services and further promote the overall reception level of Tianjin specialty commercial protection units, Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office invited key members from Tianjin Municipal Public Health Bureau, Tianjin Municipal Public Security Fire Bureau and Tianjin Vocational Institute to deliver lectures for 52 specialty commercial protection units on food health and safety, fire safety and service etiquette on July 3 and 10.

The invited units gave special trainings according to their functions. Tianjin Municipal Public Health Bureau emphasized key control links for health in relation to the current state of shopping malls, commercial streets and other public areas. Tianjin Municipal Public Security Fire Bureau stressed various fire safety management regulations. Tianjin Vocational Institute provided advices for enterprises to improve services in terms of appearance, looks, manners, and communication.

The commercial protection units said, though the training took only a short time, its content was of great benefit; they would organize their service staffs to carefully study, fully absorb and gradually practice the training materials, integrate their learned knowledge into daily services and apply specified and internationalized standards to accomplish the reception task for 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos Forum. Then, Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office will organize the commercial protection units to conduct activities of “learning from each other, observing each other, comparing with each other, and evaluating each other” and various service skill competitions, displaying the city’s sound commercial outlooks to Chinese and foreign guests.
