2012 Summer Davos, the First Tianjin Youth Traditional Chinese Painting Exhibition Opened.

　　On July 25th, 2012 Summer Davos, the First Tianjin Youth Traditional Chinese Painting Exhibition opened in Tianjin Gallery. The exhibition is co-sponsored by Tianjin Summer Davos Preparatory Office and Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts and undertaken by Tianjin Gallery. It will end on the 31st of July. Ronglin He, the Vice Chairman of the Municipal CPPCC attended the opening ceremony and addressed.

　　In his address, Ronglin He expressed his heartfelt appreciation to the artists for their efforts in the success of this summer Davos in Tianjin and for the development of fine arts in Tianjin. He said that under the leadership of the professors of Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, the promising young traditional Chinese painters actively participated. This exhibition not only reveals Tianjin contemporary Chinese painting artists’ profound skills, but also witnesses their advancement in artistic conception.

Spectators visited the exhibition

　　With “the Oriental, Tianjin and Art” as the theme, the exhibition has ten outstanding Chinese painters head the list including Deshu Yang, Wenlai Han, Chunyang Huo, Lu Jiang, Jianshi Yu, Wensheng Liu, Fuchun Chen, Shihui Shen, Wusheng Zhou and Yong Fang. 72 young traditional Chinese painters’ 135 paintings and calligraphy works are gathered. The grand spectacle of harmonious development of Tianjin as well as the beautiful vision of Tianjin are displayed to domestic and overseas viewers through the connotation and spirit of traditional Chinese paintings at the exhibition, thus adding some grace to 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos.
