On August 6th, 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos Specialty Commercial Protection Units’ Service Skills Demonstration Competition was held. 35 featured catering businesses and teahouses attended the competition. The heads of Tianjin Summer Davos Preparatory Office and Tianjin Commission of Commerce were present.

Zhu Jun, the deputy secretary general of Tianjin Municipal Government and the heads of Tianjin Commission of Commerce were present.

After the Mobilization Meeting for Tianjin Special Commercial Protection Units to Welcome 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos was held, all the units have realized rectification and improvement in such fields as shop appearance, standard of service and sanitary control.

This competition is an examination of the rectification and improvement works the catering businesses and teahouses have done recently, and also provides a platform for the businesses to communicate their service skills. During the competition, judges gave their comments on the labor suits and table set-up skills for each business. The persons-in-charge, waiters and waitresses of the businesses said that they discovered their shortcomings, broadened their visions and improved their service skills through the competition. Next, the preparatory office will hold a nameboard awarding ceremony for 2012 Tianjin Summer Davos Specialty Commercial Protection Units.
