In the first three quarters of this year, the number of hi-tech small and medium enterprises in Tianjin increased by 12382, exceeding the annual planned number by 2382, and Tianjin accumulatively has 47064 small and medium enterprises, whose principal business income reached RMB 1087.1 billion. During the same period, the number of hi-tech little giant enterprises in Tianjin increased by 460, finishing the annual task in advance, and Tianjin accumulatively has 2259 hi-tech little giant enterprises, whose principal income reached RMB 936.5 billion. It is expected that by the end of 2013, Tianjin will have 50,000 hi-tech small and medium enterprises and 2300 hi-tech little giant enterprises.
