Within three years from 2013, Tianjin takes five actions to build an ecological city, actively promoting the construction of ecological civilization, constructing ecological human living environment, facilitating harmonious co-existence between human and nature, and creating an ecological livable city. By 2015, the 6 districts in Tianjin proper, Binhai New Area, and Xiqing District will all reach the national ecological city standard, and more than 10% of the city’s communities will reach the city-level green community standard.
