Days ago, Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office issued the Green Plan of 2014 Tianjin Summer Davos Forum, which was formulated on the construction of a beautiful Tianjin and under the theme of “Creating Value through Innovation”, combining the experience of holding green meetings previously.

　　The plan covers seven perspectives, 20 measures totaled, such as Green Meeting Place, Green Meeting Affairs, Green Participation, Green Transportation, Green Accommodation, Green Food and Green Publicization. It embodies the idea of environmental protection, i.e. energy conservation and emission reduction, recycling use and green action. The Summer Davos will make full use of previous furniture to be established with environmental-friendly, compound and new materials, work in an energy-efficient way, reclaim the waste for centralized disposal, organize guests to ride in pure electric buses, and recommend the reception hotels and restaurants to adopt ecological and green products etc. To combine the construction of a beautiful Tianjin, it will strengthen training on holding a green Davos forum, frame a series of green actions, invite environmental protection experts to make academic exchanges on major events, set up a Davos educational base for green and environmental protection and arrange electric shuttles and exclusive bicycles for the forum.
