To further enhance the service level of the 2014 Tianjin Summer Davos Forum, the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China and the Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office jointly held a mobilization meeting on volunteer training in Tianjin Polytechnic University on 11 June. 890 volunteers for the Forum, protocol and urban operation will get systematic training, which will lay a good foundation for voluntary service in the Davos.

　　From 11 to 13 June, the two organizers will conduct a 3-day training course to volunteers in multi-faceted knowledge and skill. The contents will cover Tianjin basic facts, necessary background of the Summer Davos, international protocol and etiquette, medical care, emergency response, psychological adjustment etc. When the training ends, the Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office and the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China will carry out an intensified training course to 80 volunteers, who, with verbal instruction and personal practice, will grasp the etiquette standard and integrate their internal quality with external performance. They will showcase good images to greet guests at the Summer Davos. Meanwhile, according to work characteristics and led by professional psychological teachers, the Forum volunteers and urban operation volunteers will be trained in the perspective of team building and outward bound. They will learn how to fuse into the team in the shortest time, establish an organizational network, and improve their consciousness of team work, which will pave the good way for imminent voluntary service.

　　Focusing on different positions, the Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office and the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China will work with other institutions to carry out venue and position training to volunteers. In the end of August, the Davos volunteers will rally together and greet the upcoming Summer Davos with great enthusiasm.
