From Tianjin Enorth:Guided by Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office and Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, the event of “Little Giants Go into the Davos Forum” was launched by the enorth.com.cn, Tianjin Global Growing Enterprises Association, and Tianjin Science and Technology Exchange Center on July 23. To date, the number of Tianjin-based sci-tech SMEs has amounted to 57,800 while the figure of sci-tech little giants has hit 2,722. With the rise in quantity, strength and profit, those enterprises greatly promote the optimization and upgrading of the economic structure, the development of strategic emerging industries, and scientific and technological innovation capabilities. They have driven the increasing of employment and incomes, and become Tianjin’s famous name card. The former three Summer Davos Forums held in Tianjin became an important platform for sci-tech SMEs to showcase their strength, make exchanges, promote innovation and boost better and faster development. The event of “Little Giants Go into the Davos Forum” is a bridge to blend Tianjin’s two name cards, i.e. “the Summer Davos Forum” and “Little Giants”, into one, and to show Tianjin’s beauty to the whole world.

　　The application for the event of “Little Giants Go into the Davos Forum” began on July 23 and will be organized step by step. In the end of July, 20 enterprises, selected by experts and e-vote, will participate in the semi-final held in early August. 10 of them will prepare for the final in late August and 5 winners will attend all events held in the forum after training.
