From Tianjin Enorth:The application for the event of “Little Giants Go into the Davos Forum” wrapped up on July 28, guided by Tianjin Summer Davos Forum Preparatory Office and Tianjin Municipal Science and Technology Commission, and jointly organized by the enorth.com.cn, Tianjin Global Growing Enterprises Association and Tianjin Science and Technology Exchange Center. A total of 44 enterprises succeeded in signing up. The preliminary assessment begins on July 29, together with e-vote.

　　Since its ignition on July 23, the Working Committee received hundreds of calls within days and many companies expressed their willingness to participate in the contest. However, constrained by application conditions such as scale and R&D field, 44 “Little Giants” finally passed the strict scrutiny. Their productive fields cover new materials, new energy, bio-technology, software and high-end information, advanced manufacturing industry and agriculture etc.

　　According to the schedule, those participants will showcase themselves with photos and letters via the official website of the enorth, and will win e-vote from 12:00 July 29 to 12:00 August 3. On July 30, the expert panel will make on-site assessment to those enterprises. According to the final result of e-vote and experts’ opinions, the top 20 enterprises will enter the semi-final. The semi-final and final will stage in the middle and late August respectively. 5 winners will attend all events held at the forum after training.
