Tianjin Witnessed Service Skills Competition of Reception Hotels for the Summer Davos Forum

　　From Tianjin Enorth:The Tianjin Summer Davos Forum 2014 Service Skills Final Competition of Reception Hotels was held in the Geneva Grand Hotel on August 15.

　　The competition was composed of two parts: internal selection and final, fallen into four items, i.e. lobby reception, banquet setup for Western food, Chinese bed making and banquet setup for Chinese food. Its contents consisted of three sections: outfit appearance display, skill operation and Oral English, which was a comprehensive examination to the overall quality of hotel staff.

　　Since July, about 5,000 staff members have taken part in the competition. Based on staff training and selection, 42 candidates from 11 hotels entered into the final. After fierce competition, 4 first prize winners, 8 second prize winners, 12 third prize winners and 18 honorable mentions would be awarded, together with several outstanding organization awards. The 42 candidates would be presented certificates of merit by Tianjin Municipal Administration of Tourism.
