Relying on the platform of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Development, Tianjin Binhai New Area (TBNA) cooperated with Beijing and Hebei in seven fields, i.e. industry, transportation, sci-tech innovation, finance, opening-up, society and environmental protection. It is actively building a model area for pooling key elements, integrating industries and interactive innovation from the aforesaid three places. So far, TBNA has promoted more than 1,000 times for investment attraction in Beijing and Hebei, visited 2,500 companies, and got 3,000 match-making projects. The number of pre-contract agreements surpassed 600 and the intent investment hit 500 billion yuan.

　　In accordance with the Three-Year Action Plan of Tianjin Binhai New Area for the Implementation of the Strategy of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Collaborative Development (2015-2017), TBNA will vigorously develop strategic emerging industries, advanced manufacturing and producer services, to promote the development in Tangshan and Cangzhou, its two flanks, and to build a cluster of strategic emerging industries by footing its region and serving the whole country.

　　Supported by its functional areas such as Tianjin Free Trade Zone, TEDA, High-tech Zone and SSTEC, TBNA has attracted central state-owned enterprises, headquarters of tycoon groups, transnational companies, operation centers, settlement centers, and logistics centers to settle down. Currently, TBNA tries to build a “special zone for innovation and startup” in its central business district, to construct a nationwide influential incubator for innovation, a high-level makerspace cluster and a center for innovation and startup.
