Yangliuqing Woodblock New Year Prints,originating in the Ancient Town of Yangliuging during the Chongzhen Emperor's reign(1628- 1644),feature a combination of woodblock prints and hand coloring.With realistic and symbolic techniques,they serve as records of local people's daily life,folk customs,and historical stories,and are acclaimed as the acme of Chinese folk woodblock New Year Prints for their widespread popularity.In May 2006,Yangliuqing Woodblock New Year Prints were included in the first national intangible cultural heritage list.

Yidecheng Snuff traces its history back to 1710,the forty-ninth year of the Kangxi Emperor's reign(1662-1722)."Snuff" refers to a remedy in traditional Chinese medicine that helps to refresh the body and ward off epidemic diseases through nasal inhalation. Yidecheng snuff is made from finely ground tobacco of high quality mixed with jasmine, musk,sandalwood,cloves and other herbs.Together they are smoked and sealed in a clay jar for aging,before being taken out years or decades later to be smoked again with fresh jasmine and then put on sale.
