In early June, Communist Youth League Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Tianjin Youth Volunteers Association publicized the information for volunteer recruitment, local citizens, and the young college students in particular, showed great enthusiasm for services at the Forum. In total, about 15,000 applicants finished online registration. After preliminary selection in 40+ colleges and universities, 2,000 applicants entered into the second-round assessment.

On July 8, the retest selection was officially launched in Tianjin University of Science and Technology. As a result, 600 excellent volunteers stood out and will serve in preparatory organization, forum service, and reception etc. at the Summer Davos Forum 2018.

Next, Communist Youth League Tianjin Municipal Party Committee and Tianjin Youth Volunteers Association will establish a database for those volunteers, make arrangements for posts according to the real need and volunteers' merits and start training in due time.
