Ken Miller, co-founder and product director of UK company PanIntelligence, said for British companies it has become easier to do business and trade with China and a great example is that it only took him nine hours to fly directly from UK's Manchester to Beijing this time.

Miller said the China-proposed Belt and Initiative is very exciting that it will open up trade routes and benefit all the countries involved in the initiative.

"I think the more open and the more we can work with each other, the greater the opportunities are for everybody. That goes for people, goes for countries and goes for everything," he said.

"Free trade is something that we should really try and treasure and hold on to. You should be looking at countries like America to lead with a very poor example and started to close trade down," he added.
